KFC - Rude cashier - Excuse laden manager
My meal came with a soda. After I paid with cash, I asked how much it would be to turn my soda into a root beer float.
Cashier say's it will be a dollar. I replied ok, lets do that. He then asks me "Do you have a dollar". He didn't say "that will be a dollar, or it comes to a dollar 8 with tax" or any thing like that.
It wasn't a request for payment, because after I paid with a 5 he laid on the counter and went in back to tell them to add ice cream. iIt was clear that he wanted to know if I had the money to pay before changing my order. Perhaps it is his experience in dealing with Citrus Heights homeless population. Either way, its the wrong way to interact with customers.
The manager came forward and proceeded to try to explain how he must have meant in another way. What other way could that be interpreted? I left without my food and with out the money I paid. They need it more than me!
It will be a long day in He## before I spend money at KFC again. Plus there is better chicken in town anyway
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $10.
Preferred solution: Have the manager at that location at lease acknowlege my complaint instead of making excuses for the employee.
KFC Cons: Cashiers additude.
Location: 8034 Greenback Ln Ste 221, Citrus Heights, CA 95610, USA

Surely this is a joke complaint, right? No logical, normal thinking person would become upset at being asked if they had the $ to pay for something.
It is UNREAL the things that cause people to become butt-hurt! There are lots of delicate little snowflakes out there, I suppose!
Please...
Oh no! I always hate when companies ask if I have money to pay for the product I am trying to buy!
