New ReviewerPurchased 16 piece bucket of KFC (in Pawling,NY) with no sides (cost around $20). The chicken was overcooked, very dry and very stringy.
I complained to KFC about the problem explaining what happended and that I tossed the chicken into the pail as it could not be chewed. On March 26, a few weeks later, I received a very nice letter of apology and thanking me for sharing my experience with KFC. The letter had the signature of Brian Goldstein - the KFC Chief Operating Officer as indicated below his name. Also, attached to the letter was a Special Guest Voucher for $5.
Now I don't want to appear unappreciative however I thought this a very petty gesture and certainly inadequate compensation for wasting $20. I explained in my complaint how much I had spent.
The management of this company does not inspire confidence to me in standing behind their product. Can they afford the $5 compensation?
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Took 3 boxes of zinger burger box meal there was missing wings the zinger burger was part cooked and part raw first to resolve asked for receipt which I did not take on day of visit to complain later when I did they made excuses and declined to provide names of manger or staff to resolve even though I provided them a receipt and photo this time they wanted evidence live of burger as if I would keep at home to rot
I ordered 3 box meal and the zinger burgers was unlooked all the way called branch no answer missing wings in box
Recently ate at KFC....smaller portions...now higher prices...not worth it.
Yes I was at The Crestwood story 12420 Le Grange road level Kentucky 40245. I came in On my lunch break I don't know about y'all but me only get 30 minutes so when I approached the counter asked what if they had any Grilled thighs, they told he yes.
So I placed my order. 15 minutes later a girl comes up and tells me the have no grilled thighs and starts yelling at the cashier. Like I told the girl from the back. She asked you and you told her yes.
Then she presides to tell me how long of a wait I have for grilled chicken. I inform her That I've already wasted my half hour lunch so go Make grilled chicken and I will use my 15 minutes break, yes I'll wait for the grilled chicken, but they never make it , the manger puts an orginal thigh in the Box and tells me hears your order,have a nice day.
I clearly ordered grilled and when I told them I had no more time to wait and asked for my money back Never in my life have I been treated so unjust I want when it was grilled chicken on my lunch break just KFC not make real chicken anymore on lunch and there should be an FYI to customers don't come here looking for grilled chicken on lunch could you're not gonna get it and the managers and staff are gonna treat you like *** because that's what they did to me today. Call KFC we bought over 20 call told then what happen they said we send u a voucher 2 week later no voucher call again they said by the 27 the when I went there I told then legs thighs it was wing and everything else the wo.an didn't know what the famous bowl was she said u want corn on the cob she had a had time with her english this was in Ridgewood nj God I Hope they send something I'm on social security my money important thanks andy

I visited my local KFC in Grenada, MS, and the young lady"s disposition was rude and totally not professional. Then another employee had a hair bonnet on her head on front counter.
They are made to worn at home. I mean really.
You're handling food and no one wants you handling their food and you have something on your head that you've slept in all night. Nasty and disgusting.

Kfc chicken has changed a lot in the last few years. It has gone from delicious to smaller, stringy and over spiced.
The soda is really the worst, all charged water And little syrup. And yet I still buy it about once a month. But what really turns me away from wanting to come back is your recent commercial with Reba. Now don't get me wrong I love to listen to Reba.
But this commercial is so annoying like someone is skinning a live cat!
After suffering through it a few times I've started to hit the mute button or change channel as soon as it comes on. I just thought you'd like to know what kind of impact some of your choices have on your customers.
Extremely disappointed how unqualified your employees are.. Simple.." can i have a mashed potato instead of my coleslaw...nope.. And for 21.99 i got 0 bisquits and overpriced
you are ungrateful. If you wanted a full refund - ask for a full refund.
Also had bad experience with employment cursing at us in parking lot long story anyways got a 10dollar voucher and then when I try to use it they won't take it

I received the $5.00 guest voucher, when I attempted to utilize it the crew at the coney Island ave. store had no Idea how to process it making it worthless and a total waste of time considering how far I had traveled to to use it.
Why you would travel so far to spend a 5 dollar voucher is beyond me.
The exact same thing happened when I complained...$15.00 for inedible and a $5.00 voucher.

I have patronized the local KFC in Bushnell Florida and had the same experience. To add to that, we ordered chicken and when we open the box it was loaded with potatoes and no chicken .
I also reported illegal activity when an employee passed a bag over the counter away from the cash register and took cash from a customer's hand then when out of view of the security cameras and put the cash in his pocket. (Drug transaction)?
Narc...you wanna complain about the food or service then fine..but trying to get people in trouble when you don't know what was going on is obsurd..
